Taxation without Representation

'Queen Hoffler' imposed taxes on the colonists of room 314 and we had to pay to use pencils and the drinking fountain! During music, Mrs. Duncan helped us write a poem about how we felt, and later in the day we wrote, signed, and delivered a petition to the queen. (She dropped the taxes and brought us a treat the next day.) A great big thank you goes to Mrs. Hoffler and Mrs. Duncan!
